Shadow dancer
I turned around while leaving the Boboli Gardens in Florence - and saw my three year old daughter dancing and twirling, making shadows. It is the most beautiful thing I’ve seen all year. I wish I could dance so unself-consciously, and with such abandon.
A mini Santa yawns.
Santa’s miniature helper sat on a oversized chair; waiting for Santa to finish unpacking. As Santa carefully laid each present under the tree The miniature creature let out a huge Yawn. The night seemed long and as he looked towards Santa the miniature creature then quickly followed out the door.
ESTUARY DREAMS, AND...CUT! ROBERT THE FISH-SLAYER
And...CUT! This was taken in a sheep shearing shed in Patagonia, using just the light coming in from the window behind the gaucho's head. The sheep wriggled quite a lot, and the gaucho was moving very fast, so I despaired of capturing anything worthwhile. But I got lucky, and the thing I love about this capture is how timeless it is

little glimpses of big lives in rome
I travelled to Rome in late October this year and had the pleasure of taking pictures of the beautiful city and the lives that fill it. The photographs I captured there were those I was most proud of the year. These are a few of my favourites from the trip.
Waiting
I shot this on an unusually sunny day in February. Winter is cold and by February it has worn out its welcome. Its dreary day after day and it seems as though there will never be color again. Then this happened.
Photos i have taken within 2019
recontestAll these images were taken on a nikon camera. The flower image I took when I went to Tropical World, I had a theme linking to gardens and my automatic response to “gardens” was flowers. So for this theme I based it upon flowers I found in my relatives gardens, out of all the images this image intrigued me the most to put it within my top three. I like how the image turned out. For th...
Relationship Curly Fries
Relationships are what makes life agonizing, harrowing and beautiful. Here, we can be seen at our most vulnerable. Often society paints a homogenous picture of relationships; monogamous, heterosexual, conventional. This standard has been ensconced into society, and thankfully people, namely my peers, are starting to push back. I’ve experienced relationships looking straight, sideways, curly, ...
Reflections of Christmas past
Taken on a bus journey through Scotland on Christmas Eve the Ferris wheel in the background reminded me of past times with my family. But now a lost and to be forgotten to e. Like the Ferris wheel lost in the forest.
Glasgae Nights
Staying on the 9th floor of a hostel on Chritmas eve. The reflections and composition reminded me of a typical night out in Glasgow. Busy, complex and a weathersome.
Cloudy Day
I took this while in a car on a bridge ☁️☁️☁️
Leaf’s Perspective
I took this one in a park with my phone. I think it’s pretty :).
the tree inside
I believe these photos are a reflection of the spirituality of two people and the personal harmony you most find with yourself and the environment. Nature, and in particular, the constant growth of trees are ultimately the foundation of our surroundings and I hope these images provoke sombre feelings when pondering the impact we have on the world around us. However, the monochromatic images (...
When Spring Blossoms
I chose this photo to represent the colours and beauty that our world can produce. I find nature captivating and as a result, I like to photograph it a lot. This is one of my best pieces of flower photography and I am proud to be sharing it with other people.
Defending It’s Pride
I chose this photo because it reminds us all that size does not matter, but personality does. This Blue tit was protecting its bush and scaring away any predators that would cause damage. I find creatures like these quite inspiring because they show us all that if you put your mind to something, you can achieve it.
Magical Sunset
I really love these photos photos becaise it always reminds of the beauty that is out in the world if we just take the time to look and appreciate it....
I want to ride my bicycle!
Amsterdam, one of my favourite places to visit. The first time I visited Amsterdam was truly an eye opener to me. Never before had I seen so many bikes! Trying to capture the essence of Amsterdam was difficult and I'm sure there are plenty of better photos out there that capture that essence, but for me, this is what it's about. Living life, enjoying life and living in the moment.
Reflections
Sidmouth beach. I absolutely love this place. The reflections capture the beauty.
Seafront paradise
This was taken at Lyme Regis seafront earlier this year. The seaside always calms me and this image in particular just fills me with bliss. The cloud formations are amazing and the couple chilling on the beach watching the waves and clouds go by, is perfection in my eyes.
Colors of Chill
At one point you feel cold, like when you feel you are in a dark place, then you finally get to see the flowers; that means the light is near.
Awe-some Architecture
Sooooo... these are just some nice pictures of buildings from when I went to Cambridge a couple weekends ago. Whenever I go I am always looking at the buildings in awe, they’re amazing they have so much personality and are just majestic.
