Ever since we launched this platform, we’ve been astonished by the vivid, odd, beautiful visuals you guys are making. And we need one of you to blow our minds and eyes out once again . . . SMPLE working with an affiliate record label (TBA), which means we’re looking for an album artist.
Your work will adorn our first ever LP collaboration– a compilation of rap, soul, electronica and ambient music across the SMPLE community. This is a huge move for us. Appropriately, we’re seeking to work with someone long term. Your gaze on the world will become integral to ours.
We'll promote your art extenisively, include your credits in all our marketing material and you’ll earn a commission for it too (TBA). This has the potential to be a major opportunity to expand your portfolio and/or even pick up regular, paid work with Smple and its partners. Just give us that killer album art, and let’s see how far we can take this . . .
- We’re after anything: a painting, drawing, photograph, collage, digital art, a crayon face – you name it. There’s no limit on the type of art you can submit as long as its designed in a 1:1 square format (so that it fits well on a vinyl cover).
- The winning artist will not only feature on the debut LP, but be invited to work on further recordings, promo material, live event aesthetics and concert visualisers in the future.
- The material must be original – or you need to have (and prove) cleared copyright use for creative reinterpretation.
- Max three submissions per person.
- You will still rights to your art unless you have been directly contacted by the Label (TBA) and offered a contract.
