Sea Is The Distance
The city skyline across the sea flared as if the water was ablaze. We looked, not that we knew it was a city, for we had never seen such frivolity glow and serenade the night air like so. Our air was filled with smog and would never be clean, not even the sharpest of bleaches would relive it from its state. along with our hands it was dry also and made our lungs wheeze with the need of moisture.
