Really Love.

Really, love ?
                                    L       O       V        E
4 letters but what does it truly mean ?
 For me,
L O V E is all about comfortability and cloaking someone in state of serenity.
 A sea of tranquility where
although waves may crash against the rocks,
although the tides may pull us in,
                    although the shores may flood,
You stay through thick and thin, regardless of the turbulence that nearly split the bond from within.
You see
love is about affection but even more than that.
It’s a longing for them to grow spiritually, emotionally and mentally.
It’s about
planting seeds as they sprout into trees as you bare fruit together -
          Proverbs says iron sharpens iron.

Love isn’t about giving up or letting them leaves die off
as love can sometimes be like that awkward transition from autumn to winter as
things get really get hard to adjust to
              - like the climate, might I say?

Adjusting is hard when it comes to love because adjusting your love according to the person is difficult.
As when you truly love deeply,
it’s hard to pull away and decrease the amount you give, as you fear
to delve too deep        but
really and truly you want them to see that love can be as beautiful and as raw as it can be,
as vulnerable as it can become.
That vulnerability provides serendipity and
serenity
that enables comfortability -
                   this rare placidity.

                                Incredibly unmatched.

You see they say
‘shoot for the stars and aim for the moon’
but love can sometimes be so out of reach
it gives us a case of the blues -
                                           it can be unrequited.
We may fall short and not reach its full potential but it’s truly beautiful
when you allow it to be.
Like a rose that you plant well so it grows,
it’s nourished so well with acts of love so when the wind blows it’s secure.
Those petals, beautiful and rich and their deep crevices analysed and examined by every onlooker but yet those petals can fall with a lack of nourishment.
Love is so nourishing                 but really.. love?
We question its capabilities and sometimes disdain it                   but
We should
really love.
We should really love because it has the power to heal.
You see bell hooks talks about the cynicism surrounding love.
See why do we fear,
fear something that mends us all and allows a
                   fusion of serotonin and adrenaline?
It
allows us to all come together as love propels.

Who can tell how far this world or generation could go if we could truly know what love means to us.
You see home is a school of love but can be toxic and dysfunctional but may we be the ones to break the toxic cycle for we,
deserve,
love.

John 3:16.
If Jesus believes we deserve to be here and our presence is so pristine ,
we do deserve to be loved even more than it may seem.
Who are we to say we don’t deserve love?

Let love branch out to you.
Yes, the branches may be sinuous let’s not be delirious or delusional as we know the power of love.
Let love propel and guide us
because without love, we would most definitely abhor.
Yes, it can be painful and
could be long or short
                                  But true love prevails.
It aligns with 1st Corinthians 13.

So don’t let anyone rob you of that opportunity
to love so one day you will catch a glimpse,
     even an inch,
            even a pinch
of it as it will reveal itself in your life.
See love doesn’t bite,
it’s never too shy.
Love hates saying good bye.
So let it be,
let it soar
                              and don’t

                            let love die.
