I often feel in love. Except it’s not with a particular person, but instead, with the world. I’ve created this perfect world for myself that’s based purely on feelings, imagination and episodes of happiness. And so, I try to capture those amazing moments that make me feel in love, at peace, hoping that they would make others feel the same.

During the UK's lockdown I have been drawing birds around the world, using the photographs of birdwatchers from Instagram as references. Using a simple medium- felt tips on paper- I wanted to capture the simplicity of the birds' beauty and the joy of the great outdoors at a time where everyone's access was limited. 

Why are we all competing to be somebody we are not? Are we losing our self-identity in mind of an ego?
