Three of our new babies. These guys are courtnix quail and are considered a dual purpose bird. Why are they dual purpose? Because they are raised for their meat and eggs. They also come in a wild variety of feather colors! 

Today, we started work on the aframe for our covey of button quail. (They will be coming home tomorrow!) I have been researching and looking at so many different cage designs, but the aframe really is something I like the look of. So here is the progress we have made on the main “house” for them.
