It’s a sister I wanted
Ever since a young age, I hated being the only daughter, I had three brothers. Then came the day my sister was born, and she was loud, she annoyed me, and I regretted what I had wished for. But over time, I learnt to love my sister, I see something in her as I do myself, she can’t sit still for five minutes. However, I saw the beautiful sunlight, and got her to sit so I could take her portrait.
The Silenced
This photo represents the women who are feeling trapped in situations where peer pressure, trauma, abusive relationships, and society exposes their vulnerability to the degree where they may not recognize the person staring them in the mirror. The silence is a cry for help that goes unnoticed and without empathy. But are not alone.
