Strip down the façade. Tear down the mask. Look yourself in the mirror, who do you see? Do you like it? It does not matter. Don’t hide it, the person you see, the flaws, the desires, the hurt, all of it, come to terms with it. And then, gracefully, every crevice, every hidden part, the outer part and the bubble that surrounds it, treat with love.
Who are you? A complicated being. The true change for the better only comes with love. Anything other than that is just a mistaken belief that disintegrates into the wind once it encounters resistance. An extra hurt, extra pain, self loathe, a plunge into the abyss.

Once again, look yourself in the mirror, those tears need to be shed, not to keep you miserable but to continue the journey of healing on the path to happiness, to contentment. For no feeling or event in life is without the other; life and death, love and hate, joy and pain, tears and laughter.
One is good and the other not so much, however it is necessary so that as we experience the highs of life, we appreciate them.
Now look your reflection in the eyes. Know thyself. It is a long, arduous journey but be courageous. For the only way to get through the storm is to get through it. Literally.
