I always look for places that would inspire my art. 

My kind of holiday is made of exploration and discovery. Lanzarote was perfect, such a magic and inspiring place! Lots of hiking, walks, bike riding and swimming, and most of all the energy of the island, its mysterious and dramatic views… 

Lanzarote stole my heart!

Here’s a little reel I made off some videos of the Timanfaya National Park, Los Volcanes Natural Park and some views from the car.. 

These landscapes keep haunting me, so I thought I’d write and record a little musical piece to accompany the reel. I called it ‘Timanfaya’s Gold’.

Gold is often a reference in my songs. I never thought about it too much, the word came naturally in my lyrics and it doesn’t refer to the actual metal. Gold is the symbol of a better, greater version of yourself, and it is something I’m always seeking through love, experience, pain, growth.
 
 Lanzarote to me was certainly gold.
