I’m a poet and spoken word artist, eager to branch out and perform more rap and hip-hop (so am looking for musicians and beat-makers to collab with). I currently perform acapella and share poems about diverse subjects and themes, interested in hitting on a core of emotional truth and spreading light and love through words while simultaneously acknowledging life’s pains and complexities. I am focused on the connective power of storytelling and driven strongly by rhyme and the mission to arrange language in beautiful and surprising ways. I started off as a page poet and am increasingly drawn to the energy and electrifying pulse of live performance, writing work that is specifically designed to be shared life. I am developing myself as an artist and would welcome the opportunity to bring my poems into more live spaces.
