A music video that I've directed on quarantine. Because of this new life, I really needed to push my creativity even further. I've decided to shot everything with my iPhone X and a cracked fish eye lenses. I wanted to challenge myself to make a music video without any expensive equipment, only with the camera that I have in my pocket. And this was how this piece was born.
Rossana is a 22-year-old, London-based singer-songwriter. Her music is notably influenced by the years of classical education as well as her later studies in Jazz performance. Born and raised in Lisbon, her roots are represented in her work, maintaining a sentimentalist ambience reminiscent of Portuguese folk and Fado. Exploring personal and engaging thematics, her lyrics are laced with noir overtones and passionate messages that promise to evoke a wave of nostalgia, complemented by beautiful piano-driven melodies, adorned by unusual textures.
Ângelo Varela, born in 1996, is a Portuguese who is passionate about the image.
Worked at ZoeFilms as Video Editor and Assistant Director, from 2016 until 2019.
Now he has decided to go to London to major in Film Production while doing some freelance work.
His final goal is to be a Director/Writer to bring his life experience to the screen.
