Past

Trees hold wisdom.

Anger
Powerful. The river runs
but has nowhere to escape,
finds itself trapped and soon
bursts out.

Happiness
The rays of the sun
Shining through the holey leaves

Black Cat
Somber. Awaiting the opportunity
to sneak a meal
as it watches the tall humans toss
large amounts of inedible food
into the trash

Spring
Colors. Crisp air. Bees.

Bicycles
The spinning of the wheels
on tar and concrete,
stop and go

Buildings
Tall. Brown, white, blue. They
take up so much space. Concrete takes up
all the space, there is no room for green.

Work
It doesn't stop.

Future
It will come with the next sunrise.
