Perspectives

Perspectives by Ruchi Srivastava
A graphic piece and various images around buildings and cityscapes.

Piece 1: Shifting Perspectives, a graphic piece I created through Adobe Illustrator over the course of a week. I wanted to have a colourful city fly above a dull landscape with the stars below to follow the theme of shifting perspectives. The piece is to be taken metaphorically.

Piece 2: A simple colour-pop black and white image I took in New York City.

Piece 3 - 5: The Deconstruction Series, a series of three images following the idea of deconstruction. The Vintage Loft is edited to look like an old building from the industrial revolution. The First Blueprint is edited to look like the building is deconstructed into its blueprint form. Modified Blueprint follows the same idea as The First Blueprint except uses the same colours that the building uses, which is brown instead of blue.

Piece 6: Faded, another simple image I took in Downtown, Toronto, during a cloudy evening. I edited it to resemble an old, film photo.
