Washing away the sins of the day 
Filling me with anewed thoughts and love for those I hold close 

An intricate web of blues and whites that crash and receed; unwanted footsteps retreating 

My mind afresh with clearer visions of the future that awaits me 
Toes digging into the wet sand; the weight of the waves infront of me

I walk away with the sun behind 
The waves say goodbye 
As they receed one more time 

The sand tells my story 
As the waves wash it away 
An intricate web with the knowledge of all our lives 
From our presence, from our eyes.
