Delis, bodegas and corner stores are the heart of New York City culture. It's the one thing we can all be sure will always be there with our favorite sandwich, favorite memories and favorite people.

This piece means a lot to me especially because my deli guy who I've known over a decade gets his deserved spotlight. I hope I captured the essence of New York City and its unsung heroes.
