I’m currently working on a painting series where I paint each zodiac sign. I’m fascinated with how we form our identities and love learning about archetypes to further my own and other’s self discovery. As I think through the meaning, teachings, and symbolism of each zodiac sign and put it together in a painting, I’m really digging deep into where in myself I also display those energies. I’m hoping others can also benefit from this approach and discover new traits about themselves. In pop astrology we focus so much on the one sun sign we are born with as defining us, but this can put us into a box. When in fact we all possess the traits of all the signs in us, we just may not have had a chance to express it yet.
