Say You’re Mine was written during the coronavirus Pandemic in Lockdown, by Ritho Evans. It is all about being quarantined away from someone. It comes from a specific conversation Ritho had with that person and how they were reflecting on all of the good things that they have together, which was a nice break from feeling like the world was ending. The music video is a story about Lockdown, where two lovers can’t see each other, and it’s really hard, then the lockdown rules become less strict and they are able to meet at a two metre distance.
