"Well-Loved" a poem by Wolfgang Von Zennishionn

"Well-Loved"

Scars run along
Beautiful curvaceous skin
Marring the view
Like cable wires
In the sunset
Or perhaps, creases
On a picture
Still breath-taking
Just not pure
And who cares?

Anything well-loved
Has creases, crinkles,
Wrinkles and tears
Missing pieces and
A story for
Every single one
The imperfections now
Hold more value
Than the original
When it was
New and pristine
