heat waves crash ferociously,
beach caves, here I am!
amongst all grains of sand,
sacrificing to the glow.
Make me glow like you!

When I get home
all of my friends are gonna be there,
peering at my shining skin
of bronze and
crystals glittering,
that the sea has stuck upon it and
ingrained within.

An armor and a bruise
we sink into one another
like water fills up the brittle land.

I invade it with my naked feet.
It's a breeze combing through my childish blonde hair.
take me back to
when this was me,
made of sand 
angel of sun
She filled the glass
for everyone
for a little too long
now who I've become?

I invade the shore of sea and land
footprints on the straight horizon
blazing their reflection into my brown eyes.
making me 
a little bit blue.

how did I get here? And why did i go?
now, there the tale of the dying sea is told.
