My name is Eriq Troi. I am a music creative from Akron, Ohio. Currently I am composing an opera encompasing stories from black communites all around the world. Everything from social justice to the first kiss that leads to a family.
My goal is to create a "hybrid-musical-experience" that will force dialogue amongst people who normally would not talk to each other.
This track is a social justice piece as told by the lyricist Jay Floyd.
I was a guess producer/composer on this project called "What's Good" which is one of the most AMAZING HIP HOP PROJECTS (grown-folk hip hop). I was allowed to create a composition around this track by Shawn Charles - the projects initial and leading producer. Long story short, Shawn heard it, LOVED IT, and said "Bruh!!! Can we use this for the project?"
