M367 - poem

a white pill down the throat,
all pain obliterated.
a red substance afloat,
Heart beat now syncopated.
soft kiss on the lip,
smile creeping on cheek
Wild sensation of butterflies
and hope awaited.

Just one gulp and love
vacated
approaching my peak in this new
addiction that's created
One expected text and my soul
deflated
"You belong to me." He harshly dictated.
