Leung Shuk Wai was born in Hong Kong. Her art practice is to find peace and self-integration. Her artwork currently is connected by her condition but divided by the experience of culture, personal, and natural. Leung started her art practice when she was twelve years old in Jockey Club Ti-I College. After she graduated from Hong Kong Baptist University with the Associate Degree of Visual Art, Leung became a graphic designer for three years.

The work experience made Leung aware that learning new skills for living only is meaningless. Leung spent a year fixing the crackles and a year to adjust the mosaic. These jobs are meaningless and boring. She needs to abandon the aesthetics and art history that she learned before when she was working in Hong Kong. Seeking for peace and care of the self in the fast-paced life is Leung’s body of work.
