OGN .. born in Michigan ... grew up in INKSTER MI ... very high crime area only 4 mile East to west 4 miles north to south 5 mile away from west side of Detroit...now he residing in Chicago Illinois...his style of music is so unique it’s all genres of music having a smooth jazzy side that has emotions driven..he has a blues sound with his story telling grabbing your attention with every word
He has an party sound that more for the club n strip clubs ... he has an angry aggressive rap sound & he finds away of always having a hip hop positive harmonious message with all of the genres with the most distinctive raspy voice that stands out ....ogn is a hip hop jazz hop blues RnB trap funk artist ...the love for music started by growing up the eldest grandson raised in a house with 5 uncles & 2 aunts in the era of late 80’s hip hop so he was very aware of music having a big part of his early life ... as a baby his uncles use to place headphones with hip hop playing to stop from crying this was a normal thing when baby sitting young OGN his early music influence was Houdini LL-cool j , rakim, slick Rick , NWA , as a teen Nas , jay-z , master p , e40 & wu-tang Mary j blige .. at the home front with his parents parliament funkadelic with his father Anita baker with his mother ,so it’s safe to say he has a very diverse pair of ears growing up
He drop his 1st project in 2007 with a buddy they form a group called alter ego which was a great listen his hometown was very aware of his talent... then another group by the name of DBA which had 4 members.. then in 2009 ogn who name was NARCOTICS AMERICA at the time form a group similar to NWA ... which members was his brother and 2 cousins n there friend ... they went on and release 3 mix tapes n then they all went on there separate ways as all groups do by 2012 in 2014 OGN released his 1st solo album “PAST LIFE EXPERIENCE “ followed by “SMOKING MIRRORS “ album in 2016 .. from 2013 till 2016 OGN toured all over , city’s like New York, Atlanta, Memphis, Chicago, Ohio , just to name a few ..then in 2017 he nearly lost his life at a stamping job getting smashed by a 40 ton die Machine leaving him with all his bones broke on his left side having him to learn how to walk again so while on his injury hiatus he learned the music business while still recording...n going to physical therapy to for a year... 2020 he really got to work creating 777 ep , winter waste album.. & summer break 3 projects on all music platforms.. in 1 year OGN is a very valuable artist and motivational speaker of his generation
