So we’re hosting parties, and we want you to play them out. Our late-night events host several live acts until 10 or 11 before we switch up, throw some local talent behind the decks. We’re looking for new sets of an hour or more. You’ll mix in front of a growing audience of creators in Vancouver, New York and London. If you’ve ever wanted to DJ somewhere art thrives and people truly connect, this is it. 

We want anything you’ve cooked up — just bear in mind, it’s going to be chill in there. But we like experimental mixes too. These Walls is built on creative freedom, of finding people who want the same surprises from the street. So, try and show us something mad, sad, house or disco. We might ask you to DJ other shows or even  join our residency program (TBD). Up for it? 

Submit a mix that encapsulates what you love about playing live. Any footage would be great too. The SMPLE team will review every submission and, if we like it, discuss your involvement at a suitable time. 

Here are the rules: 

  • You must be able to play in Vancouver, New York or London. 

  • One submission every six months.

  • Half hour minimum mixes. 

  • Shows will be PAID (we’ll reveal how much if you’re selected).

  • We cannot cover any expenses for travel or accommodation at this point, so only apply if you are located in Vancouver, New York or London.
