It feels as though the whole world is burning around them. One night, when I couldn’t sleep, with everything topsy-turvy around me, around us, this thought crossed my mind. It had been a couple of days and I couldn’t get it out of my head. So when I began to write, the words flowed. On Fire can mean different things to different people. To me, it reflects some of the darkest days of my life and my journey through them. Music has always embodied every piece of work I’ve created. As a filmmaker, I wanted to create a video that would bring this song to life and give visual meaning to the lyrics.
