It massages my ears till I fall asleep

I sink into my recliner and lean back
I prop my arms up to support my now relaxed head
I lift my legs up to cross them.
A yawn is released then my eyes flutter shut.

I’m startled by a commotion that appears to be coming from outside.
A woman stomps and slams her hands on a table.
She points a scolding finger at a group of young children.
“Do you have a permit?’, says The middle-aged woman.
The children appear to have holstered a table up

I get up from my recliner and walk toward the window
I crack the window open, stick my nose out, and peer through to get a better look
