To the and of Forgotten Dreams

To the land of forgotten dreams,
Reality pulls apart the seams.
Can we get back to those places,
Even if they are full of lost faces.

Life remains demanding,
A daydream left standing.

Love becomes invasive,
Lurking nightmares are persuasive.

Lost and stuck in a pattern,
An ending that was bound to happen.

To the land of forgotten dreams,
Reality pulls apart the seams.
Can we get back to those places,
Even if they are full of lost faces.

A fantasy built on a word,
Where nothing really real is heard.

A story in your head,
Said just to get you out of bed.

A romance that is rotten and cold,
This forgotten dream begs to be told.

To the land of forgotten dreams,
Reality pulls apart the seams.
Can we get back to those places,
Even if they are full of lost faces.

Forgotten dreams do remain,
When you realise what there is to gain.

Freedom is found within ourselves,
Once battling through countless hells.

For it was a nightmare it seems,
That took you to your forgotten dreams.

Here in the land of forgotten dreams,
Where reality pulls apart the seams.
We can wake up in those places,
When we remember the right faces.

To the land of forgotten dreams,
When reality can be all it seems.
