0: The Fool... The first card in the Major Arcana of tarot, he represents all of us; the core of our being as curious humans. Embarking on a journey out of spontaneity & through the lens of optimism & faith.
I started a new sketchbook/journal on this passed January Full Moon (1/06/2023) Meditating on all the cards each day:
Beginning this new revolution around the Sun, I'm determined to awaken & live 2023... I have been sleepwalking trough life & allowed myself to become a slave to capitalism & standards of success that weren't my own.
My birthday is also this month (Aquarius gang lol) &, like most, completing another year around the Sun always causes me to contemplate my goals & what tf I'm even doing here.
The holiday szn of 2022 took a big, big toll on my health in general. I'm currently getting my Bachelor's degree & do pet sitting & was also working at a dispensary. Ppl going on trips + buying lots of weed for the holidays = busy (& stressed) bb. I found myself sleepwalking through life & only focusing on my jobs & barely made it through the semester; I also hadn't made art or even so much as doodled since April, terrible! Whenever in chaos, I always turn to my tarot cards...
Naturally, The Fool kept popping out at me. Contemplative on beginnings & endings I've been slowly trying to harness Fool energy, 2 weeks later (my current present as I'm writing this), I've been drawing every day & already feel myself improving soul & mood wise.
