Starfish is the opening track of my sophomore LP, "Apogee." A starfish is a brilliant celestial sea creature that can detach its limbs when attacked and grow them back brand new. If the damage to the starfish is more severe and a piece of the starfish’s central body is still attached to the limb, then the detachment can even grow into a separate and brand new starfish. “Starfish” is the ability to let go of what hurts the self, so we can regenerate and divide. To keep on fighting & living is the theme of this pulsating and expansive piece.
