The Ochil's Quarry

Near my apartment by the Ochil Hills in Scotland, I came across this old quarry while hiking. A hundred years ago, people were blowing the Ochils up with dynamite. Now, the people here maintain lovely glens, two castles, and not to mention miles and miles of land for grazing sheep.
An American living in Scotland, I write poetry and book reviews. I'm really passionate about family histories & bramble berries. I'm also a francophile and used to live in France. Some poets I love are Tony Hoagland, Danez Smith, Martha Serpas, Fatimah Asghar, Franny Choi, & Kaveh Akbar.
