Travels through North America

I took this blend of 35mm colour and b&w photos during my travels throughout the USA and Canada, and whilst using my trusty Canon Ae-1 program that I bought in a pawn shop in Philadelphia. As a photographer, I am not someone who thrives in busy, chaotic environments – I prefer places of quietude and stillness, taking my time to appreciate the playfulness of physics and light upon given subjects.

Ultimately, my photos have an observant nature about them, in which I prefer to peer at human life from a certain distance without being too involved. I also like to focus on banal objects and landscapes that are both the products of humans and nature; these photos make up a large part of my work.
