Another woman’s beauty does not define yours- it shouldn’t have the ability to decrease your confidence or self worth. We are supposed to support and build each other up no matter what, and be a positive ally for all women.
The toxic nature of social media can make you devalue yourself, doubt your intentions and most importantly, impact your mental health. I want my page to be one of safety, of security- it’s often why I share my most vulnerable moments, such as this.
If all people can see are my perfect pictures, how will they ever get to know the real me? Know my dreams, hopes, fears and loves. I love showing you me all glammed up and feeling 100% but I also show you the real side of being a 21 year old with body issues.
I’ve really struggled with body confidence since coming back to uni, but then I saw people doing this post. I’m finding it hard to love myself at the moment!, but I’m learning and growing every day. I’m beautiful and deserve to feel it, as do all of you ❣️
