Hendrix Was A Hippie

Jimi Hendrix was a legendary musician from the counter culture era. His songs primarily talked about the suppression of the masses. He was a rebel who ignited the flame of a hippie spirit. He wrote songs that described the situation in the country. It helped him connect with other young people like him.
However, Jimi Hendrix came from a very poor family background. His father worked in the military and mother was a housewife. He suffered from dire financial constraints and family discord. He also had two younger siblings who shared his fate. But destiny had different plans for the young kid. During his childhood, he found an old ukulele with one string from a garbage bin.
He started playing the string with passion. His desperate attempt to learn an instrument and play harmonious tunes brings out the inner musician in him.
In his adolescent years when he turned fifteen, he finally was able to buy his acoustic guitar. It was the cheapest guitar in the lot. Soon after he met like-minded people and formed his band. He kept performing and learning from other musicians until he became excellent at the craft.
Hendrix was soon knocking the top charts of the music album in the States. However, his ideals and heart strongly resonated with the counter culture. Hendrix was seen wearing colorful shirts and pants. He used to tie a headband and wear beads like other hippies.
People regarded him as the hippie icon in the 1960s. He fueled his audience with his lyrics about the unjust system. It did not take him long to sing openly and loudly about love and sex. Hendrix had a very successful career but died shortly at the ripe age of twenty-seven.
Hendrix was all for love and peace. His songs encouraged many American youths who followed him. His songs were regarded as a treasure for anyone who believes in spreading love. He went out on the streets rallying against the Vietnam War.

His iconic face and image can still be found in the hearts of thousands of fans across the world.
