GraphicAI

AI-designed graphic printed tees and clothing. Inspired by a prompt and passed through various artificial intelligence, these print t-shirts are entirely computer-generated to give them their unique style and motifs.

First off, the prompt. I talk to a chatbot or a text completion program about what would be good on the front of a shirt. I search the artificial intelligences' suggestions for subjects and styles and piece together the ideas the machines generate.

Next, I run an image generator, putting the prompt through CLIP and Diffusion to create these weird almost recognisable patterns and graphics. I do this over and over, with different wording of the prompts, different settings in the generator, feeding outputs back into work as guides for new images.

I collate all the outputs and pick a variety of different styles that reflect the prompt. I then upscale them to the correct size so they appear detailed and textured in the final high-res image.

I combine the design with the logo, which too has been misshapen by the AI. Teemill and Everpress then take this design and use their own systems to model it automatically on models who will never actually see the design.
