IX World's Out

painting, oil on wood
24x36in
This piece captures a combination of natural landscapes that I have visited in my travels. A still frame of beautiful landscapes showing off all that we have to lose on our dying planet. The landscape sits within a human figure, a silhouette, to say that we each hold the power to conserve these places. The figure stands on water to signify hope and grace, holding our sacred environments to the state of health they deserve to be in within such a dark time. In the hope that we can honor our natural elements, essential to our entire being, in order to save them.
