Hear the catchiest indie banger of the summer

New British indie outfit, The Mease, are bursting out of the emerging Derby music scene with a jaunty riff-laden brand of melodic rock n roll and have released their debut single ‘Carry Me Home’ – sure to become the catchiest indie banger of the summer!

Written during lockdown 2020, this feel-good banger looks back fondly to simpler times, drunken nights and what could have been – “For all I know you could be anyone, won’t you carry me home?” Discussing the upcoming single the band said, “Things were getting really tough last year, in and out of lockdowns, and Tris just wrote this song to give people a lift really. It all came from thinking back to various nights out over the years where we’d drunk too much and didn’t know how we’d get home!”

On a mission to unleash guitar tunes reminiscent of ‘90s and early ‘00s bands from Oasis and Radiohead to The Rifles and Editors and everything in between – The Mease debut single sets the tone for what’s to come from their forthcoming EP ‘See The Light’ later this summer.
