Hello , my name is Gerald kokra I am a NYC based photographer . I recently took a trip to Abidjan my city in Ivory Coast ( west Africa ) where I am from . The project was to highlight talents of my hometown wether that is stylists , models , and artists in general . I also wanted to show the joy and the atmosphere down there. I made it a responsibility to pave the way for younger photographers from back home to let them know that it’s okay to believe in their dreams and to chase them . I’m submitting my work and hoping for it to get seen so that the rest of the world can appreciate the talents that we have and what we have to offer thank you and cheers .
