Hey I'm Tanith MH and I'm an Artist and Film Maker based in Belfast.

This photoseries focuses on the symbolism attached to young women and their freedom. Devil woman or demon, why is a liberated woman viewed as a 'bad girl' in some circles? If confidence is sexy then why is sexy 'bad'?

This is my first short film that I shot over two days with some amazing friends. Its about two young women who accidentally summon and bind themselves to a demon. We were nominated for at Cinemagic Film Festival and On the Pulse Film Festival and we got to have our Premiere Screening at Raindance Film Festival.

I think there is an attraction for me to work with 'demonic' imagery in response to the conservative country I grew up in. It feels like a way to poke fun at those oppressive ideas without giving it a space to be taken seriously.
