There's a beauty about the memories and the nostalgia of ‘firsts’. Running into a crowd full of people head over heels, music drumming in your bones at your first gig, seeing the first band that connected with your soul on a level like no other, and the first time you drive on your own. Windows down, hair blowing in the wind, or the first time you sit and watch the sunset, and I mean really watch it. Soft pinks like the cheeks of the girl you first kissed and oranges and reds dancing in front of clouds like the very first bonfire night in November, sweet and sticky marshmallow stuck on teeth. These moments are what we live for, happiness in the shape of suncream and sandy shorelines with toes being gently dipped into waves of wonder like your first date stargazing on your girlfriend's roof, fingers gently brushing together, and these firsts are the ones you want to last forever, but trust me when I say there will be seconds and thirds all as delicious and delectable as the first.
