This is the first piece in a collection I've been working on. The collection is called "Learning to Listen" and every artwork in the series focuses on a different type of listening. This piece specifically is all about learning to listen to others and the pros and cons that come with being influenced by those close to you. Using blindness as an inspiration and metaphor for relying on what you hear and not what you see. Listening to others is a skill many people overlook because we are all focused on ourselves.
