Coffee Breath, an ode to your breakfast

Stand behind me swaying gently

The coffee beans whisper, grinding and sizzling,

Our bodies together as if figurines on a cake

Sssst

I hand your mug warm

Planted with a kiss of safety a forehead kiss

We drink coffee eating fried eggs with pepper

And we watch The Office

Our knees intertwined in you cold

Pyjama shorts

I feel baggy, like a little child, my breasts small

Against you I feel perfect

Like I could wipe away and never reapply

Like I could jump in the pan with you, dancing

With the tomatoes

And spiced like the chilli
