I took this picture New year's day. We just purchased a new fire pit and this was the first time we used it. We had friends over and even though it was very cold we enjoyed our marshmallows over the fire and I enjoyed my camera near the fire being careful not to burn myself. I think it is one of the best pictures I have taken in 2019 because the contrast between the fire and the cooler tones of the background really help the winter feel of the photo. Also the texture on the logs and the marshmallow are good.
