The Light At The End Of The Tunnel

I think we can all agree that 2020 (to put it politely) was not a great year. Fear and isolation engulfed everyone's lives, leaving many people with little to no hope for the future. I was lucky enough to be blessed with amazing family and friends who kept me going through the past 18 months,  but as we slowly begin to near the end of this pandemic I'm still finding that some people's hope has yet to return. They have yet to see the light at the end of the tunnel...

The reason why I consider these nine photos to be the best ones I've taken all year is as they depict true, pure moments of happiness. I can pinpoint the exact memories that match each of these images, and the emotions along with them. They are reminders to me that, even in the darkest of times, there will always be people and moments that bring us relief and joy and hope. These photos were my light at the end of the tunnel of 2020, and I couldn't be more grateful for having such wonderful people in my life - forever loving, forever supportive, forever shining.
