this is the first single off my upcoming lofi record titled 'dogwood', named for my grandparents cabin. some of the tracks are almost caricatures of my memories, painting a picture of these familiar places in a dreamlike state. 'i had a dream of our old house' explores the type of dream where you are exploring a building you've seen before, but never been in. your mind seemingly magically fills in the holes, creating a slightly familiar, slightly alien experience.
