"MAY SOUND CRAZY": disguising pain in music

When people ask me what my style or genre is, I stutter.
This newest song is a perfect example.

I showed it to my mum and asked "who is singing here?"
She thought it was The Weeknd and Bastille on a collaboration. Of course I was flattered... but it taught me.

Make music from the heart. Don't overthink the gory details.

'May Sound Crazy' is a unique, fresh take on modern UK urban sound - a mellow and intoxicating beat laced with a balance of airy country-esque vocals and clean rap lyricism.
It is one of those songs someone accidentally stumbles over, listens with a raised brow, and ends up nodding along to for the majority.
It seems to explore a bitter relationship, but deeper than that - the song is about mental illness. Losing control of what's real, and letting your thoughts take control of your soul and happiness. The song is full of exciting contrast and metaphors.

ASK WHERE I WENT, I WENT ONE STEP WAY TOO CLOSE...

"A cool alternative hip hop sound" - Bhav, Westside Radio
"This is the sound right here...  This is the UK Post Malone" - SmileySmuggler, Vocal Networking
