I believe these photos are a reflection of the spirituality  of two people and the personal harmony you most find with yourself and the environment. Nature, and in particular, the constant growth of trees are ultimately the foundation of our surroundings and I hope these images provoke  sombre feelings when pondering the impact we have on the world around us. However, the monochromatic images (one on film, the other digital) are beautiful, almost surreal portraits and I believe empower the figures in their truest form.
