"Steady Simpin'" by Taylor Crawford - In a Confusing Time of Digital Relationships

"Steady Simpin'" is about Crawford’s generation navigating their way through an era of digital dating, swiping, and overall confusion of intimacy. Crawford write's: "I live in my room, with the universe at my disposal," as if we all act as an omnipotent creature being able to pick from the masses what we desire - but this is taking away from our ability to communicate and be vulnerable to our emotions. There is an overall lack of confidence which Crawford feels may be due to this wall of the internet which allows us to be one persona, but creates a divided self between who we are in person.
