Hi! I’m a 24 year old artist and illustrator from Essex. I’ve always had a passion for art, however when I became disabled due to a neurological disorder, I feel I really began to find my way. I mainly create abstract paintings and watercolour pet portraits.
I draw my inspiration from nature around me and the emotions it makes me feel. I create my work using a combination of hand made brushes and mark making tools that I create with natural branches, feathers and sticks. My aim with my art is to invoke in the viewer the same emotions I felt while painting. This piece was painted while watching the first light break the horizon at dawn. It’s golden haze reached through the mist and danced on the leaves and puddles on the ground. Twinkling as it lit up the world. I hope you like it!
