Well Intentioned Miscalculation

for what it’s worth

i put in my two cents

on your behalf

to spare you the struggle

with the all too

familiar snide laughs

but I’ll be damned

if ignorant judgment

didn’t once again

play it’s cruel part

because I allowed my emotions

to cloud my vision

rattle my heart

for it all to implode

before it even had a

cold chance in hell

giving you, me and them

one more stab at a

well intentioned

but miscalculated

fresh, new start.
