Woman, I miss you

I miss you, you were taken far too soon.
I miss seeing you and chatting from daybreak to noon.

Woman, I miss you. I miss having inside jokes, giving each other words of hope. I miss you badly. How can I ever cope?

Woman, I miss you. I miss the sound of your voice, the brightness of your smile. Just to see you again I would walk a million miles.

Woman, I miss you. I can express the hurt that I feel. I'm hoping to wake up from this bad dream, I keep telling myself this can't be real.

Woman, I miss you. Your kids miss you so. Why did he have to put his hands on you. Why did you have to go?

Woman, I  miss you. I hate that love had to hurt. I just wish I could have showed you what you're worth.

Woman, I miss you.
